DialogTech's engineering team is building products that assist Marketing departments in getting the most return for their advertising dollars. The team spends a lot of time using modern analytics tools and practices, and faces a variety of new and interesting challenges on a regular basis.

We are looking to add a Software Engineer to the team. While we would like to see at least a couple of years with relevant experience building open source web-based software, the primary thing we are searching for is a smart, driven engineer that is comfortable working in a collaborative environment.

We have a casual workplace focused on results. We are beyond the startup phase, but still in a rapid growth phase with a lot of opportunity to make an impact.

This role is located in our Chicago, IL office. 

What you will be doing:

• Contributing to building complex SaaS applications.

• Creating RESTful APIs to provide external interface to our VoIP infrastructure.

• Developing in an agile environment using modern MVC best practices.

• Participating in code reviews of your work and the work of others.

• Debugging applications in a thoughtful, structured approach.

What you need:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

• 3+ years of development experience in a LAMP environment.

• Solid Object Oriented programming skills in a modern language.

• Ability to write moderately complex database queries.

• Understanding of thoughtful API design.
