Overview
We employ a variety of technologies to deliver our vision. Our code is Python. Our websites are Django. We serve content using a mix of Apache, WSGI, memcached, MySQL, and RabbitMQ. We functional test our sites using Selenium and we unittest our code. We use open source solutions when available, and we open source our own technologies when appropriate.

How we work
- We believe in a collaborative and iterative approach – work both intra and inter team to design the best possible solution and refine with data-driven decisions about what works most effectively.
- We use TDD practices with a focus on automation, dashboards, and continuous integration.
- We deploy to production continuously. When the code is ready, it goes.
- We support and maintain our code in production. We are the front line support system.
- We play, we research, and we experiment to find the best tools for the job. We don't innovate for the sake of innovating, but we don't shy away from novel approaches.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Django.
- Experience with asynchronous queues a plus.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (MySQL and Postgres are a plus)
- Experience with object oriented design
- Experience with multiple languages / different types of languages a plus
- A demonstrated passion for improving one’s own skills and learning from others.
- Familiarity with the agile process a plus
- The ability to collaborate closely with clients, product owners, and other non-technical folks.
- The willingness to debate with peers who are as talented and intelligent as you.
- A quality mindset, and a test-driven development habit.
