The Software Release Engineer Intern will
be a member of Release Engineering team for our Linux platforms and
will assist in the development and maintenance of software to improve
the build and release process. Also, the engineer will focus on
continuous integration, build automation, and deployment/release tools.

Responsibilities:

• Support QA teams in code deployments, configuration, and tool maintenance for both Manual and Automated test environments
• Support Client Services teams in deployments to demo environments
• Work
  closely with Development, QA, and IT to define, implement and support
  automated deployment tools to support various test, demo, and
  preproduction environments
• Help Build or select tools to enable efficient deployments and maintenance of various environments
• Contribute to Configuration Management to ensure all systems are properly and consistently updated

Qualifications:

• Working towards a BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering
• GPA above 3.0 is required, above 3.5 preferred
• Student must have taken at least one year of courses and possess some proficiency in computer programming
• Should have a high confidence level in the ability of writing software programs
• Required Technology Experience: Python programming, Unix shell scripting
• Strong understanding of object‐oriented design, data structures and algorithms
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong and committed work ethic
• Understanding of Agile Methodology and other software development methodologies are a plus
