What you will be doing:
Our Android/Java Developer will design and develop Android applications utilizing multiple technologies and platforms. Our mobile team translates requirements into effective, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces. Collaborate with developers, testers, clients, users and cross functional teams to continuously enhance the usability of applications.
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Experience in developing highly performing Android applications across a spectrum of OS-versions, devices and resolutions
• Experience in Android layout management standards and building consumer driven user experiences
• Experience building apps that communicate with RESTful services
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related knowledge and experience
• 5 years of Java and Eclipse IDE experience
• 1+ years of experience with the Android SDK
• Git and Android studio is a plus
• Experience building apps that communicate with RESTful services
• Experience in Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, Algorithm Design, Problem Solving, Complexity Analysis and Debugging
• Experience in building and maintaining automated build and deployment processes
• Roku and iOS development experience is a plus
