Overview

At Analyte Health, the Sr. Project Manager will be able to understand the big picture and make the right tradeoffs to support the overall business strategy.  They also have excellent analytical skills.  In addition, they excel at thinking creatively, balancing multiple large projects simultaneously, and developing collaborative working relationships with business partners and technical experts.  The successful candidate will be a creative and results-oriented problem-solver with strong business acumen and effective communication & collaboration skills.  Finally, a Sr. Project Manager will have the ability to affect the business by regularly providing advice or counsel to senior management.

Job Description:

  • Defines project schedules and release dates, establish a delivery schedule for product and technical planning, with forecasting resources 12 months out
  • Work closely with the executive sponsors, product and development team to safeguard stakeholder vision
  • Primary driver of production scoping, planning and delivery for all projects pertaining to enhancements of new products or scaling existing functionality
  • Primary driver of projects related to building new websites, products and services that have both internal and external stakeholders
  • Manages day to day operational and tactical projects that will help the company meet both short and long term goals
  • Manages task completion to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provides weekly status to stakeholders on projects
  • Runs his/her section of bi-weekly Stakeholder Meetings
  • Establish change control procedures as they relate to any changes in scope or requirements for a particular project
  • Identify critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria
  • Directly manages all aspects of the project life cycle and works with product and technology to stay on track
  • Is comfortable working in a regulated healthcare environment
  • Work alongside agile product development practicing continual release

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in an e-commerce environment, healthcare or mobile a plus
  • Experience managing small to large complex IT projects from concept through closure
  • Familiar with agile methodology and product release planning
  • Ability to leads and direct the work of others
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Knowledge of, and experience adhering to, Project Management methodologies
  • Facilitating project team meetings and documenting minutes
  • Project status reporting
  • Excellent leadership/time management/facilitation/analytical and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship building skills
