Overview:

As a leader in the Analytics & Technology team, the Senior IT Manager guides a team responsible for the development and delivery of technology solutions for improving marketing performance for our clients. The Sr. Manager collaborates with the Analytics and BI teams for building innovative products and solutions to meet the various client deliverables. In addition, the Sr. Manager will be required to apply their skills in project and program management while exhibiting leadership in process re - engineering and implementation.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead the IT team through transformational change while delivering results and supporting the strategic and operational objectives of the business.
  • Lead IT strategic and operational planning to achieve business goals by fostering innovation, prioritizing IT initiatives, standardizing business applications, and enabling strong data analytics with enterprise wide data management.
  • Execute offshore development and support strategy as part of the overall Performics initiative
  • Provide technical leadership and oversight for application architecture, information security, technology selection, governance etc.
  • Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
  • Monitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
  • Disaster Recovery planning – review and monitor disaster recovery requirements, and communicate the status to management to ensure capabilities are aligned with requirements.
  • Deploy modern core services including migration to cloud based services where appropriate.
  • Develop and manage budget for the IT function

Practice Management & Development

  • Enhance and improve formal frameworks and methods to address client and industry needs including the integration of digital media and customer analytics to increase performance
  • Collaboration across a broad range of agency stakeholders including analytics, media, content, engineering, planning in the development and refinement of capabilities
  • Manage prioritization and allocation of resources across projects and teams
  • Identify new trends, technologies and solutions in the marketplace and Performics around digital marketing and develop business plans to address industry needs

People Leadership & Team Development

  • Hire, train, mentor and develop team members providing linkage between job roles, desired competencies, and key experiences through career paths that direct employees towards personal and professional success
  • Establish expectations and goals for the team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences / Information Technology / MIS or its equivalent
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of total work experience.
  • Experience leading or managing development teams with skills in the following categories:
  • JavaScript, PHP, Python.
  • AWS infrastructure
  • MVC Architecture
  • Restful API’s
  • Linux
  • MySQL and Postgre SQL
  • Experience working effectively within a matrix organization requiring corporate and business unit teamwork
  • Demonstrated aptitude and passion for learning new technologies.
  • Demonstrated leadership in project governance and adherence to key IT project management disciplines to maintain project timeliness and budget integrity of the project.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to attract, retain and develop talent.
