Job Description:
We are currently seeking a solid security focused individual who will be responsible for planning and implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks and data in a fast pace and exciting technology organization. The successful candidate understands and incorporates methodologies in order to anticipate and prevent security breaches in addition to supporting the audit and compliance activities within the organization. Understanding of technical concepts as well as business, regulatory and audit requirements is a must!

The ideal candidate will be able to accomplish the following key performance objectives:

• Perform daily health checks as documented by the IT Security team;
• Performance analysis of the security systems and processes at Gogo;
• Support the Security team by documenting and performing support tasks
• Participate in change management, incident management, audit and business continuity processes;
• Planning and implementing security policies and procedures to protect computer systems, networks and data from unauthorized access;
• Participate in internal and external compliance and regulatory audits;
• Recommending security enhancements and tools;
• Ability to work nights and weekends as required.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to support multiple sites is required.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, mathematics, Information Systems or equivalent experience required;
2. Minimum of 5 years of hands-on IT Security & Audit experience;
3. Must be familiar with standard security concepts, practices and procedures;
4. Knowledge of Linux & Windows operating systems;
5. Strong Documentation, communication skills and attention to detail;
6. Positive attitude & ability to grasp new technologies.
7. Able to work independently and as a part of a team to deliver completed projects on-time.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of security toolsets (CyberArk, Nessus SecurityCenter, MetaSploit, OSSEC & Cisco technology);
2. Knowledge of regulatory compliance (PCI:DSS, SoX, ISO:27001);
3. Expert knowledge of AWS cloud security;
4. Professional IT security certifications (Security+, CISSP, CISM, GSEC);
5. Knowledge of database security (Oracle, MySQL);
6. Knowledge of SIEM technology and security event correlation and monitoring
