Job summary: Groupon is looking for a data-driven technical program manager to drive execution of the most impactful initiatives for Europe, Middle East, and Asia (EMEA). You will lead and coordinate design, implementation, testing, and post-launch analysis efforts between internal teams (both within engineering and outside engineering).

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the EMEA product roadmap based on forecast business lift and company strategic priorities

  • Drive revenue lift by identifying, prioritizing, and project managing the launches of successful A/B tests in EMEA

  • Meet with partners in London and Dublin virtually and in-person to discuss the product roadmap and business needs

  • Engage with and obtain buy-in on product strategy from EMEA leadership, product managers, engineers, and cross-functional teams

  • Understand technical dependencies in detail, and project manage complex technical projects through to launch

  • Provide technical implementation guidance, while troubleshooting and escalating issues

  • Understand operational workflows, identify and implement processes to drive operational scaling, and create new processes when appropriate

  • Deep dive into the EMEA product, identify bugs and product gaps, and drive fixes with urgency

  • Prioritize new experiments, strategic launches, bugfixes, and other initiatives based on data and revenue forecasts

  • Drive data deep dives into experiment launches to identify and correct issues

  • Communicate timely and accurate status to appropriate stakeholders

  • Develop tools and reporting systems to track product progress

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years experience in operations/technology/project management

  • Self-starter with excellent communication and project management skills

  • Strong team management skills; ability to instill commitment among team members at all levels

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with expertise in balancing multiple, rapidly-moving projects

  • Superb judgement with the ability to make decisions and drive projects to completion with minimal oversight

  • Strong communication and influencing skills

  • Deep analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative, with a track record of applying these to inform effective and successful business decisions driving a customer-centered product strategy

  • Obsession with understanding and meeting the needs of the customer

  • Occasional international travel (1 week every 2 months)
