NowSecure is recruiting for a full time Technical Product Support position in the Oak Park, IL corporate office. Successful candidates will work as part of a team in order to support customers with software and other technical support cases.
Job Duties:
- Use mobile devices and mobile security software
- Provide customer product support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail or phone
- Handle incoming support tickets, classifying and assigning accurately
- Respond to customer support requests with a sense of urgency and professionalism
- Ask questions to determine nature of problem
- Follow sound troubleshooting process
- Communicate issues with team members and escalate appropriately
- Assist both internal and external clients with hardware and software issues
- Write knowledge base and other documentation
- Prepare and ship equipment, receive equipment, use an online inventory system
Requirements/Key Competencies:
- Technical degree or commensurate experience
- Strong spoken and written English
- Familiarity with Mac, Linux, VMWare, and mobile software
- High integrity and responsibility, no criminal history or drug use
- Enthusiasm for customer support
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to promptly answer support related e-mail and phone calls
- Ability to follow an issue through to resolution
- Self motivated, detail-oriented and organized
- Current Chicago-metro area residence preferred
- No relocation expense reimbursement, no visa sponsorship
