bswift, a leader in cloud-based technology and services for employee benefits and health exchanges, is currently seeking an  an experienced UX Designer for a full time position at our headquarters in Chicago, IL. 

The UX Designer will create detailed documentation, mockups and prototypes for web and mobile applications, advocating user-centered design at all stages of product development. Candidates should have a passion for new web technologies, a great aesthetic sense and a self-driven motivation to improve and enhance user experiences.

Qualifications required:

• 3+ year’s experience designing web applications
• A solid online portfolio demonstrating strong attention to detail and a mastery of identity design, typography, layout, and UI design
• Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
• HTML and CSS
• Ability to create clear IA documentation, user flows and wireframes
• Working knowledge of cross-browser and cross-platform design issues (IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, etc.)
• Good written/verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel

 Preferred:

• Working knowledge of Javascript and jquery
• Experience with Google Analytics
• Experience managing and/or conducting usability tests
• Experience with data visualization (Highcharts, .Net charting)
