During the last release, you would have:
- Oversaw the design, development and architecture for a product category
- Ensured simple, consistent, and impeccable product work was delivered
- Design, developed and contributed to some of the most important UX work happening in the product category
- Lead the planning and contribution to Core UX Patterns
- Lead defining a consistent visual language that contributed to the Core UX Pattern library in code and design.
- Created innovative design & development solutions that revolutionized our user-experiences
- Enjoyed a team atmosphere that extends beyond the walls of the office—including activities like UX conferences, dinners, and go-karting.
- Ownership of UX best practices around design, development, and architecture.
- Must have impeccable attention to detail within design production.
- Strong understanding of browser/device capabilities and limitations.
- Understanding and practice with Responsive Web Development techniques.
- Knowledge of progressive enhancement techniques.
- Ability to write and understand semantic and well-formed HTML5.
- Provide front-end development expertise to support peer developers.
- Ability to follow and add to a pattern library or style guide.
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Design, Human Computer Interaction, a related field or equivalent experience
- Must have at least 5-7 years of hands-on experience creating engaging, multi-platform user experiences that follow a unified design language
- Focused on enriching the end-user’s experience through a collaborative creative process
- A master at using common UX tools such as Sketch, InVision and front-end development
- Working with Lean UX principles that help agile product teams succeed
- Familiar with Atomic design principles.
- Portfolio of previous work
- Experience integrating client-side code into a variety of templating languages and CMSes.
- Experience with preprocessors - SCSS, LESS.
- Familiarity with different CSS methodologies - OOCSS, BEM, SMACSS.
- Familiarity with JavaScript Frameworks - AngularJS, Ember.js.
