What You'll Do:
  • Planning, scheduling, carrying out and presenting UX Research activities
  • Conveying the applicable insights from collected research to design team and to affected stakeholders

Potential Projects:

  • Enterprise software and web development projects in various industries
  • Contextual Inquiry opportunities at client sites across the US
  • Work with cutting edge technology and world class professionals
Qualifications:
  • Experience moderating usability tests
  • Experience in other research methods such as: end-user interviews, contextual inquiry, card sorting and creating experience maps
  • This is not a design position, though there will be plenty of opportunity to interact with designers, create wireframes and have feedback on design decisions
  • The ideal candidate has experience working in an Agile environment in a cross-functional team
  • 3+ years of experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user experience research
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead large scale projects while working with stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of strengths and shortcomings of different user experience research methods, including when and how to apply them during each product phase
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn and improve on existing and new research methodologies
  • BA in Cognitive Science, Statistics, Psychology, Human Computer Interaction or related fields; MS in Human Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science or related fields preferred
Nice-to-have's:
  • Knowledge of advanced statistics
  • Experience conducting research on mobile devices
  • Experience with financial services or related fields
  • Experience with Opinion Lab, UserZoom and/or other similar VOC/survey tools

Location

We are located in River North just right off the Chicago Brown Line stop. We also provide you with a free shuttle service to/from Ogilvie and Union.
