Location: Chicago, IL Department: Product Development Type: Full Time Min. Experience: Mid Level

Supporting our growing User Experience team, the person in this role will create new designs as well as iterate upon existing designs within an established style pattern for all web and marketing channels. 

Position particulars

  • Work collaboratively on a shared design team to improve existing designs and solve new design problems.
  • Take art direction from design team members to create or iterate upon existing visual design comps.
  • Provide deliverables to product team stakeholders that include clean, organized source files and image assets optimized for web.
  • Follow and/or update existing user interface style guides to maintain brand consistency.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ experience designing digital and web applications required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, communications, or other relevant background preferred.
  • Portfolio shows an applied knowledge of usability, mobile-first and user-centered design.
  • Strong visual design skills, including a solid knowledge of composition, color, typography, and awareness of latest web design trends.
  • Detail oriented, with the ability to be efficient, fast, accurate, organized and articulate in the communication of your designs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, and can both offer and take feedback constructively.
  • Have a passion for solving problems.
  • Familiar with Sketch and InVision.
  • Familiar with style guides.
