The Role
The Vice President of Finance is a key role for this exciting, fast-growing, mission-driven startup. Edovo has grown significantly over the past two years and is at a point where we need to be more focused, planned, and deliberate in our approach and execution. To that end Edovo is looking for a talented individual to take responsibility for:
Owning and executing the routine activities required to gather, validate, and produce monthly financial statements (Income statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Aged Receivables, Payables, etc…) for the Board of Directors and internal consumption.
Building and maintaining forward looking forecasts and models for cash flow, capital expenditure, and company profitability.
Leading a cross-functional team to determine and analyze the impact of new pricing models for existing and future Edovo products and services.
Working directly with the CEO and other senior stakeholders to define the scope of strategic partnerships, provide detail for upcoming capital and debt raises, and other senior level responsibilities.
Essential skills, mindsets, and experience
Core Accounting skills - extensive knowledge of accounting standards, metrics, terminology, statements, and routine deliverables
Experience independently building complex company performance models
Ability to see the bigger picture and connect vision and strategy to financial deliverables and metrics
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment where change is constant and no two days are the same
Tenacity, drive, ownership mindset, and problem-solving spirit, including an ability to roll up sleeves and do all types of work necessary
Excitement about Edovo’s mission
An interest and ability to develop into a CFO role over time
It’s a plus if you have experience
modeling and implementing changes to pricing strategies and structure
with debt and capital raises
in a startup environment
building and maintaining cross functional dashboards
in leadership/management with a history of direct reports
owning a P&L for a business or business unit over $50M
