What you can look forward to in the job:

  • Creating and maintaining brand standards and style guides for creative, interactive, and patient-focused web-based products
  • Researching and designing improved user experiences for our consumer-facing websites
  • Collaborating with front-end designers and front-end developers to ensure designs are implemented as you intended
  • Preparing, designing and managing e-books and books for print-on-demand for publication
  • Designing and producing a variety of digital and print materials for multiple stakeholders across the company (e.g., online advertisements, email newsletters, landing pages, microsites, sales materials, and illustrations)

What we are looking for in you:

  • A strong portfolio featuring a variety of design solutions including identity and branding systems, marketing materials, infographics, web and user experiences
  • Deep understanding of branding as it relates to user experience
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Flash)
  • Knowledge of current web and print design standards and best practices
  • A collaborator that can make and communicate design decisions with non-designers
  • Understanding of user-centered design best practices for web and mobile experiences
  • Ability to accurately handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A plus: Front-end coding experience including HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript/jQuery, and/or Drupal
