We’re looking for a detail-oriented person to become a key member of our executive team and help us realize our mission. Your title will depend on your experience level. Ultimately we’re looking for right person that can eventually become our CFO. It will be your job to build the finance department and work with the CEO on fundraising initiatives. Inventables is building its reputation as the place you go when you want to use digital fabrication tools to design and manufacture a product.
We are a venture-backed startup company focused on growth. You will work closely with each department crafting and reviewing budgets and growth plans. Each month you will be responsible for closing our books, preparing financial analysis and communicating such information to our investors and bank.
We are looking for someone with a strong finance or accounting background. You will need to work in a digital accounting system (we use Quickbooks) and be comfortable with accounting concepts and reporting.
You will be responsible for:
- Month and year end close out
- Preparing and presenting financial information to the board
- Working directly with our CEO on financial scenario planning
- Working with each department head on our financial forecast and annual budget
- Leading our physical inventory and cycle counting process
Your background must include:
- Experience managing a physical inventory
- 4 year degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred
- At least 5 years experience in public accounting
- Experience with GAAP accounting
- Experience with Quickbooks
