Web Developer

We are looking for a Web Developer with experience in defining and developing end to end solutions. The candidate should have extensive experience in designing and developing Web-based solutions
- Develop and maintain software solutions for new and existing products
- Work with business experts and web designers to create software applications
- Ensure that the performance, usability, quality, and reliability of our applications surpass the expectations of our customers
- Design, program, develop, analyze and implement .Net web-based applications.
- Create code documentation, implementation instructions and integration test plan for applications.
- Produce technical documents in accordance with SDLC guidelines.
- Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and implementation details are understood by all parties.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing applications and systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Equivalent Experience required.
- Requires a minimum of 2-3 years of experience programming in a web environment
- Strong standards compliant front-end Web Development (HTML,CSS,JS) skills
- Familiarity with browser debugging and development tools such as Firebug
- Front-end engineering skills using Object-Oriented JavaScript, various JavaScript libraries and micro frameworks (jQuery, Knockout, Angular, Prototype, Dojo, Backbone, YUI).
- Strong working knowledge of a variety of current web technologies and common cross-browser-issues.
- Independent and self-motivated with strong initiative.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC 2/3/4/5 is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with business experts to develop innovative software solutions and respond to customer requirements
- Strong Object Oriented Programming skills
- Requires the ability to multi-task with little supervision and work in a complex, deadline oriented environment.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communications skills at the business and technical levels
- Requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork, and the ability to integrate rapidly with an existing team
- Additional programming experience with SQL Server and programming experience using Agile Development Methodologies is a plus
- Helpful additional skills include programming experience with Windows Mobile applications, iOS, and/or Android.
- Good communications, writing and editing skills.
