POSITION SUMMARY

The person in this role will write in a variety of formats, from scripts to print, help shape the overall creative vision of our product, and work with our creative leads and other creative department team members throughout the production process.

Fundamental Components:

Absorb complicated information, distill it down to its simplest pieces, and then teach it to millions of employees through various media formats. Create outlines, write scripts and articles, revise, and repeat--always meeting deadlines. Work with the creative leads and other team members to create interesting, engaging characters, metaphors, and other cool, story-type stuff. Meet with clients, internal and external, to understand needs and share ideas. Write for a variety of formats: video, interactive media (which means branching scripts), eGuides, and whatever else comes up. Help audition/direct voice talent while they bring your work to life. Work with the team throughout production to make sure the end product is the best it can be. Respond to user feedback, analytical data, and client feedback to improve the creative work in future iterations. Learn from your team, and help teach them as well. Last, but not least, consistently reflect our core values of higher standards, greater accountability, and more fun to bswift associates, clients, and partners.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

Proven ability to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills (key for client work and performing scripts). Solid grammar. Previous experience writing with humor. Tech-friendly, previous experience with Adobe software. Able to operate in an ambiguous, fast-paced atmosphere. Driven to take ownership and bring work across the finish line. Experience providing and receiving feedback. 

EDUCATION

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
