The Challenge
We are looking for an experienced demand and growth marketer to join our rock-star marketing team. In this role, you will be leading a key component of Kazoo's go-to-market (GTM) strategy. You'll be responsible for delivering effective, integrated marketing campaigns that create and capture demand and drive adoption of the Kazoo Employee Experience Platform. This cross-functional role works closely with product marketing, sales, and customer success to conceptualize and launch campaigns that increase content engagement, pipeline, platform usage, community participation, event attendance, and ultimately revenue.
You'll need to be someone who excels at combining strategy, data, creativity, and flawless execution. Your north star metric will be a qualified pipeline, and you'll deliver your OKRs in a way that provides an exceptional prospect and customer experience
This role reports to the CMO.
What You'll Do
Lead, develop, coach, and manage a high-performing team of digital and demand generation experts that span PPC, SEO, Events, Webinars, Affiliates, Display, Paid Social, Email, Lead Generation, Content Syndication, and other demand-related disciplines.

  • Lead the development of Kazoo's demand generation and digital marketing strategy, including inbound lead acquisition and outbound account-based marketing strategies. Drive alignment on clear priorities with key stakeholders, adjusting as required by market conditions, performance, and emerging opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate across the marketing and broader organization, sharing project updates, timelines, processes, and results while championing the marketing team and demonstrating our impact on the business.
  • Collaborate with key leaders and stakeholders to align demand generation with sales efforts and priorities.
  • Manage the development and execution of Kazoo's marketing programs to drive leads and optimize funnel conversion rates. Optimize campaigns to maximize leads, pipeline, and revenue value while driving efficiency.
  • Continuously look for ways to take performance to new levels. Maintain a constant cadence of testing and analysis. Drive intelligent experimentation and risk-taking opportunities while learning and failing fast as needed. Work across functional teams to develop new business processes to yield improvements in funnel performance.
  • Leverage data to understand performance, trends, issues, and solutions. Build data-driven recommendations and champion data-driven decision-making. Forecast, measure, analyze and report the impact of demand creation programs and campaigns on MQL, SQL, sales pipeline, revenue, and sales cycle length. Leverage analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data, generate insights and translate it into actionable changes for the broader go-to-market team.
  • Build trusted relationships with the Sale, Marketing, and other critical departments such as Customer Success. Provide cross-functional leadership and drive discussion on critical issues on sales pipeline and revenue-generating initiatives. Collaborate and develop strong alignment with marketing and sales leadership to agree on priorities, understand challenges, and leverage opportunities.
  • Act as key stakeholders and partner with revenue operations to optimize our use of technology, systems, and processes to optimize market performance.
  • Be a catalyst for Kazoo culture and values in all aspects of your work. Develop strong, trusted relationships with team members to support individual and team development, wellbeing, performance, and career growth.


Who You Are

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience with proven success in developing and managing teams and executing high-volume digital and demand generation programs through rapid growth. SaaS marketing experience is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with proven ability to work across functions to achieve and scale results. Deep understanding of demand generation best practices and how to engage prospects and customers at multiple points through the customer journey with a keen test-and-learn mindset.
  • Results and data-driven with excellent attention to detail; excellent analytical and quantitative skills to interpret data and translate it into actionable change.
  • Demonstrated experience measuring and managing performance metrics at a granular level to optimize performance at the vendor, keyword, and sub-campaign level.
  • A proven leader with experience building and managing a solid team of marketers while also passionate about the team's continuous learning, development, and growth.
  • A strong communicator, confident and articulate in presenting to internal stakeholders and external audiences.
  • In-depth experience in marketing analytics, operations, and platforms (e.g., Marketo, 6sense, Chili Piper, Drift, Salesloft, and Salesforce, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Data Studio).
