Position Overview
The role will be responsible for the Identity & Access Management program at Wintrust Financial Corporation, which includes both operations and engineering teams. Responsibilities will include leading teams to conduct complex system build and integration efforts, requirements gathering, design, testing, training and communications (example systems: SailPoint, Ping, Privileged Access Management, and Okta for customer identity). This role will be considered a subject matter expert across core Identity & Access Management (IAM) capabilities. The Director will be required to communicate to both technical and business stakeholders at all levels in the organization.
Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for a team of 15+ full time resources on the operations and project teams
  • Responsible for managing team of contractors providing implementation support and staff augmentation services
  • Responsible for managing the capital and operations budget for the IAM program
  • Product owner for Privileged Access Management tool, Ping Federate, Customer Identity Solution, SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ), SailPoint Security IQ (SIQ)


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years' experience in designing, implementing and operating Identity and Access Management technologies
  • 5+ years demonstrating strong leadership over an Identity and Access Management team
  • Expert understanding of Identity technologies and understanding of integration of applications within a distributed environment
  • Demonstrates an expert understanding of how security access systems integrate across the enterprise
  • Experienced in leading large security access system upgrades/projects in support of business initiatives.
  • Demonstrates an advanced understanding of how an Identity Management system integrates with Human Resources systems.
  • Must have very good organizational skills, an attention to detail, very good written and verbal communication skills, along with interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of identity authentication and authorization technologies and protocols in the integration of applications within a distributed environment, including experience with leading large security access system projects.
  • Has or is willing to attain CISSP, MCSE, CCIE, GMON, or similar certification within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimal travel, Less than 10% if located in the area. Monthly travel for remote workforce.
