Cleverbridge is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to join our Insights team. The ideal candidate approaches business narratives and intelligence in an analytical manner, is data driven and is a creative problem-solver. You will be required to think outside the box and be highly organised to thrive in a hyper-growth environment. You will work closely with clients, Customer Success and Sales Engineering to optimize clients' payment performance and maximize the value they can leverage from using all relevant Cleverbridge products. Familiarity with and interest in data analytics is a must.
Your Background

• BS/MS in a quantitative field (E.g. Engineering, Data Science, Operations Research, Applied Math, Statistics, Analytics)
• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Business Operations, Finance, Strategy, Technical Account Management or Payments Analytics at a leading technology, payments company or consultancy
• Experience with SQL / Looker / Notebooks. Experience with Python is preferred
• Able to verbally present and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at all levels to influence both internal and external audiences
• Driven, motivated and thrive in fast-paced environment
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple relationships and projects simultaneously
• Able to understand issues large accounts are facing
• Experienced in customer success or account management
• Deep understanding of payments / fintech across regions globally

Your Responsibilities

• Analyze sales and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales performance metrics and distributed dashboards
• Provide regular reporting and analysis on team performance and progress against targets to senior management
• Work closely with the other teams to develop and gauge the effectiveness of go to market initiatives
• Continuously monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Proactively identify and work with Intelligence to curate the data roadmap for the commercial organization
