Groupon has an opening for an additional Accounts Payable Specialist to assist with the Accounts Payable function of the Groupon Goods department. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. This job requires an individual with a positive attitude and a team player mentality.
 
 Core Responsibilities

  • Correspond daily with suppliers, logistics, operations, and our sales team in part to resolve to supplier payment inquiries
  • Manage an email inbox by responding in a professional manner to supplier inquiries
  • Provide accounts payable support through managing the Goods Accounts Payable Zendesk queue
  • Validating data in Excel and ad hoc reporting
  • Assist with other duties as needed

 

 Key Competencies

  • Strong customer service and problem solving skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft products, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably Netsuite
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize work on a daily basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage workload and work effectively with little supervision
  • Experience with Zendesk software preferred

 

 Education and Experience

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Customer Service preferred
