Description

The Architect, AEM Operations shall provide technical operations leadership to multiple teams of developers in a mixed environment of onshore / offshore / client resources.  The role collaborates with practice, development teams and client stakeholders for the design, development, and deployment of Java-based websites, mobile sites, applications, and CRM integrations and more to exceed the needs of our customers.  This person must be confident, pro-active and influential when interacting with management and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple teams of developers with different objectives and timelines by providing oversight of technical architecture of multiple solutions fitting client’s industry standards, use cases, strategy and technical needs.
  • Work with technical leads, other architects to ensure solutions optimally utilizes Adobe tools and supports clients use cases, strategy and industry standards.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery / project management of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key customer stakeholders and executive sponsors.
  • Lead cross-functional project core teams to on-time development & implementation, while maintaining or exceeding quality standards and estimated cost projections.
  • Manage program resources, identify and track action items and assign tasks to appropriate team members utilizing best practices.
  • Break down Customer strategies into phased road-maps according to customer priorities, industry best practices and technology prerequisites and dependencies.
  • Align road-map phases to executable use cases.
  • Make recommendations on tools, services, offerings, etc. to client for additional engagements for Credera and the Adobe Practice
  • Review project milestones to pre-emptively identify issues and address before negative impacts to the project deliverables.

Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in Adobe Experience Manger and understanding of the Adobe Product line and integration points in designing solutions: Adobe Analytics, Campaign, Target, Experience Platform, etc,
  • 2+ years of experience in project management / delivery / client engagement
  • Expertise in the following languages and technologies: HTML, HTML5, Java Script, XML, Java, WCM, services-based architecture, REST, Web analytics, content targeting
  • Excellent project management and resource management experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to identify issues, solve them quickly, know when to rely on internal resources, and know when you need to assist personally.
  • Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing on-shore, off-shore and client teams.
  • Experience working in a consultancy firm. (highly desired)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel 33% of time as necessary.
  • Ability to work within the US without limitations.
  • Ability to work in office / client site 3 days per week. (Required)

Compensation:

The salary range listed is for informational purposes. Credera treats all applicants as individuals taking into consideration but not limited to their professional and academic experience, specialized training, certifications and associated responsibilities as it relates to our specific industry. The salary range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for each unique employee. An estimated base salary of $160K – 185K plus a variable component is anticipated for this role in the US.

Hybrid Work Model:

Our employees have the flexibility to work remotely two days per week. We expect our team members to spend 3 days per week in person with the flexibility to choose the days and times that work best for both them and their project or internal teams. This could be at a Credera office or at the client site. You'll work closely with your project team to align on how you balance both the flexibility that we want to provide with the connection of being together to produce amazing results for our clients.

Travel:

Our goal is to keep out-of-market travel to a minimum and most projects do not require significant travel. While certain projects can require frequent travel (up to 80% for a period of time), our average travel percentage over a year for team members is typically between 10-30%. We try to take a personal approach to travel. You will submit your travel preferences which our staffing teams will take into account when aligning you to a role.
