We are a fast-moving, growing company with a serious need to build on our strong team. We are looking for one Content Marketing Manager for our downtown Chicago office.

What You’ll Do

We are seeking a highly skilled content marketing manager who can drive development, enablement, and adoption of company and service value propositions. At your core, you are an empathetic change agent who is constantly seeking not only new ways to articulate and narrate the Jobba story to our clients and associates; but is even more passionate about seeing its uptake across the market through digital campaigns.

You will build a content center of excellence in Jobba to ensure that thought leadership, subject matter expertise, and sales enablement content is used along the client journey effectively. You have hands on experience and results in creating compelling value propositions, messaging, content, go-to-market strategies for innovative companies. You have a high digital IQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development, delivery, and socialization of the company value proposition
  • Develop all content to support the strategic marketing plan, including website copy, white papers, infographics, blog, social media posts, collateral, sales presentations and email content
  • In partnership with our product and service teams develop the go-to-market process (marketing elements) for bringing new solutions to the market (internal and external)
  • Work with indirect channel leads to ensure that lead generation campaigns are fueled with relevant, effective content
  • Collaboratively develop an impactful product position and communicate it on our website, newsletters, and other sales collateral
  • Develop compelling case studies by engaging with existing customers and demonstrating the impact our solutions have had
  • Leading in the development of a broader content marketing strategy
  • Set objective KPIs for Content Quality and Effectiveness. Lead teams towards demonstrable improvement in these success metrics

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of marketing experience including digital (SEM, website), preferably in B2B software product marketing
  • Experience in content and copywriting, preferably on technology topics in a digital agency or other B2B settings
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into highly readable, actionable content for a B2B audience
  • Strong experience designing, developing and implementing insight-driven, content-led, technology enabled marketing programs and capabilities
  • Strong content development experience with a track record of customizing targeted messaging content for specific industry audiences
  • Knowledge of SEO trends, readability scoring and best practices
  • Knowledge of the construction and service contractor industry and terminology as it pertains to specialty contractors, property owners & managers, manufacturers, distributors, consultants, etc. – is a Plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Communications, Journalism or English
