As a Proposal Writer, you will facilitate the development of Relativity’s responses to RFx’s and other sales-related documents in the corporate, law firm, government, and/or utility sectors. The Proposal Writer will have a comprehensive knowledge of the proposal process, including the ability to extract customer requirements to ensure that all responses align with our two software platforms, Relativity and RelativityOne. The Proposal Writer will work under moderate direction of managers while coordinating extensively with other Pre-Sales team members.
Role Responsibilities
- Assist with standardization and management of entire RFP process
- Assist sales team with responding to and editing RFPs
- Solicit feedback when needed from other departments and relevant subject matter experts to create customized answers to RFPs
- Create, update, and maintain an RFP library to track functionality, changes, additions, and new RFP content
- Further develop, update, and create useful supporting documentation for responding to RFPs
- Obtain and maintain relevant industry and Relativity expertise
Minimum Qualifications
- At least five years of relevant experience, some of which must be in a technical writing capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, English, Communications, or related field
- Ability to independently respond to complex RFPs, coordinate the response process, and interact regularly with all departments
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- General knowledge of industry proposal applications, such as Ariba, FedBizOps, GETS
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (Project and PowerPoint desirable)
