POSITION SUMMARY

The primary objective for a bswift Information Consultant is to assist in writing and publishing Information Technology and data security assessments for external audiences, existing customers and new business prospects. 

 The Information Consultant will work with subject matter experts to accurately document existing controls, procedures and policies. Additionally, the Information Consultant is a key contributor to developing and distributing materials used to educate external audiences on bswifts platform security and controls environment.

An exceptional attention to detail is necessary. The candidate must be self-motivated and able to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment. Resourcefulness and the ability to follow through on commitments with minimal supervision are required. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills to manage relationships in a cross-functional team environment, will be receptive to detailed feedback, and be equally comfortable working individually and with a small team of other writers.

Fundamental Components:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
 

  • Working with subject matter experts to complete current client and prospects security assessments and information technology portions of requests for proposals
  • Managing and maintaining existing language inventory
  • Updating security exhibits based on approved language
  • Developing and distributing assessments or proposals to external users
  • Soliciting feedback on documentation from internal stakeholders
  • Maintaining an index of approved content and artifacts/exhibits
  • Updating internal process and training guides
  • Writing sample will be requested as part of the application/interview process  

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Strong analytical skills to test and accurately document functionality
Ability to conduct training sessions with enthusiasm
Strong proficiency with PCs and command of Microsoft Office
Experience with technical or educational script writing preferred

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
