Are you looking for a way to challenge yourself and build your studio production skills?

Groupon’s mission is to become the daily habit in local commerce and fulfill our purpose of building strong communities through thriving small businesses by connecting people to a vibrant, global marketplace for local services, experiences and goods. In the process, we’re positively impacting the lives of millions of customers and merchants globally. Even with thousands of employees spread across multiple continents, we still maintain a culture that inspires innovation, rewards risk-taking and celebrates success. If you want to take more ownership of your career, then you're ready to be part of Groupon.

At Groupon, the Studio team provides merchant services for custom photography, in-house stock photography and videography. This team crafts content that merchandises Groupon’s inventory and brand to customers, on both a local and a national scale. As a team, they are responsible for planning, executing and delivering content that aligns with Groupon’s strategic goals. The content they create spans across multiple types of subject matter, from lifestyle photography to product videos to national marketing campaigns and everything in between.

We're looking for a Studio Production Coordinator to join the Studio team. This person will be the point-of-contact for scheduling, coordinating and ensuring delivery of each of these initiatives, as well as providing the Groupon organization with the information they need to request these services throughout the business.

We're a "best of both worlds" kind of company. We're big enough to have resources and scale, but small enough that a single person has a surprising amount of autonomy and can make a meaningful impact. We're curious, fun, a little intense, and kind of obsessed with helping local businesses thrive.

You'll spend time on the following:

  • You will contact merchants & sales team partners via phone or email, as needed.

  • You'll partner with Visual Art Directors to ensure that selected vendors will yield visually compelling, high quality content.

  • You will schedule productions for the photo & video teams with merchants and communicate production details.

  • Ensure finished assets are delivered on time & merchants receive the assets they expect, as applicable.

  • Work with the photo & video teams to identify efficiency opportunities in outreach & production processes.

  • Maintain a production tracker for all merchant content created for the Visual organization.

  • Educate teams within the company on Visual's services and ensure there's a communication path for services to be requested.

We're excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts preferred; related degrees considered

  • 2-4 years of freelance or production experience

  • Proven understanding of digital photography, videography & content production

  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster and maintain relationships

  • Excellent at problem solving and being resourceful

  • Detail-oriented and excellent organizational skills

  • Self-directed and able to work independently

  • Ability to establish priorities as well as set and maintain deadlines

  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment with aggressive schedules and deadlines

  • Mac proficient; expertise in Adobe PhotoShop/Lightroom/Bridge, CaptureOne and MS Suite is preferred.

  • Must be able to transport and lift 25 lbs.

Groupon provides a global marketplace where people can buy just about anything, anywhere, anytime. We’re enabling real-time commerce across an expanding range of categories including local businesses, travel destinations, consumer products, and live or lively events. At the same time, we are providing advertising options and tools that merchants can use to grow and manage their businesses. Culturally, we believe that great people make great companies and that starting with the customer and working backward moves us forward. Community matters to us on an internal, local and global scale—it’s fundamental to our company’s growth and to the well-being of the world at large. We also value self-awareness, candor, lunch and WiFi. If we match with you, please apply to join us.
