You are the champion promoter of cross-functional teams and will use your skills to align them towards technology and our goals.
- Ensure the CTO is spending their time on the most important issues and not necessarily the most urgent ones
- Equip the CTO to lead by prioritizing meetings and ensuring all parties are adequately prepared
- Partner with members of the technology leadership team to promote the organizational agenda and prioritize decisions to the CTO
- Manage a backlog of technology projects for leadership to review and make progress
- Ensure best practices and improvements through the product life cycle
- Provide program management leadership to help cross-functional teams to excel and achieve their goals
- Develop the operational model to develop and measure OKRs
- Work with colleagues from Product, Finance, Legal, and Marketing to align cross functional priorities to promote technology projects
- Partner with the CTO and People team to develop the leadership and technical skills of the technology team
What you will bring to the team:
- You are a technology professional with at least 10 years of software delivery experience
- You've moved some code in the early 5 years of your career or perhaps even a ton of code but more importantly, people have touched the products you've built and you've learned from their feedback
- Although you are comfortable and perhaps experienced with several software development models, your preference and expertise are in the Agile methodology, specifically in scrum and kanban and you've shipped products over the last 3 years with Agile and continuous delivery
- You are not dogmatic, yet you have principles that you've followed, adapted, and evolved throughout your career to inspire teams of colleagues to launch products
- Although you are operationally focused, you have experience developing engineering teams of 30 or more and you have the metrics to prove it
