This eCommerce-focused role will partner with brand merchandising teams to ensure delivery of optimal customer value proposition and help to build out and manage commercial plans. With a keen eye on the balance between price and promotion, this role will serve as a consultant to brand merchandising teams on the most effective execution based on brand and e-commercial priorities.

Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role
- Assists in the development of the fact-set around customer needs in the area of price and promotions - utilizing different sources of information, helping form the conclusion and building the story.
- Executes the synchronization of the ADUSA and PDL everyday pricing strategy that leads to maximum customer value in the context of the e-commercial planning process. The associate has achieved and will ensure maintenance of hitting the customer value proposition in the area of everyday price and promotions.
- Works closely with counterparts in trade and planning, replenishment, e-marketing, local ADUSA merchants and e-shelf to build intentional commercial plans by week by ADUSA brand that deliver on the new PDL customer value proposition in areas related to everyday price and promotions.
- Responsible for the execution (and report-out) of the aligned upon weekly commercial plans and everyday pricing by ADUSA brand. This includes execution and identification/remediation of exceptions. This also includes oversight of the utilization of the tools used to deliver.
- Responsible for the execution/updating of a common set of measures that are put in place for each of the ADUSA local brands to find ways to continuously learn and improve - science, tools, choices and process
- Performs pricing and promotion analysis using syndicated, internal, and customer data sources.
- Works with business leaders to identify categories and items to be included, determining prices, calculating investment and margin impacts, co-ordinate in-store implementation, and tracking and analyzing impact.
The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in strategic pricing, ecommerce or retail environment
- Understanding of Business Intelligence tools and analysis
- Aptitude to analyze, assess and summarize internal & external data points and insights
- Ability to manage and deliver focused opportunity targets, working with both brand and PDL business partners
- Analytically minded with strong logic and organizational skills
- Technical aptitude to collect, organize and prioritize data
