Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
We are looking for an Analyst to join the high-performance Marketing Strategy & Analytics team. You will oversee the budget for all promotional/concessions activity and meaningfully contribute to optimizing promo delivery strategy. You will own all aspects of the process, including: working with numerous stakeholders to forecast, analyze, and track all promotional spend across marketing channels; building and improving key-metric dashboards; and developing actionable insights to drive strategic marketing direction. This role will be based in Chicago.
In this role you will:
- Provide recommendations around trade-off decisions between competing programs, desired consumer behaviors, and stakeholders in order to recommend the optimal investment.
- Oversee and manage the roadmap of all promotional tests and act as a gatekeeper to the budget.
- Work with multiple teams across Finance, Operations, Product, and Pricing to forecast and analyze promotions with quick turnaround times.
- Identify inconsistencies with data and work with stakeholders to determine the cause of the variance and necessary next steps.
You Should Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within consulting, finance, or tech
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets knowledge (index / match, sumifs, etc.)
- Demonstrated skills in SQL, with a willingness to become an expert quickly.
- Experience using Tableau, or other BI tool to build dashboards.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Keen business acumen and ability to apply context to sanity-check numbers
