About this Role

The Associate Director, Analytics Development position is responsible for building and maintaining many of Conversant's analytics products.  Analytics projects vary from building tools to provide instrumentation and real-time analysis statistics for new and existing products to development of custom, client-facing reporting datasets. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with members of the Conversant Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to develop measurement and reporting solutions
  • Actively participate in the development of complex data initiatives, including gathering of requirements, technical specifications and prototyping
  • Enhance existing SQL and python code by identifying efficiencies and/or automation opportunities
  • Assist in the troubleshooting of existing products and tools developed by the Analytics team
  • Design and create data/reporting systems to answer a diverse set of marketing optimization questions

 

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of industry experience with a Master's Degree (7+ preferred)
  • SQL Programming (Advanced Level) with experience using SQL to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis
  • Experience managing corporate-wide initiatives with engineering, data warehouse, and business stakeholders
  • Knowledge of data warehouse principles (relational tables)
  • Strong communication skills and desire to work with cross-functional teams
  • Desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment with multiple simultaneous projects 

 

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Familiarity with the digital advertising industry (audience targeting, campaign optimization)
  • Knowledge of alternative programming languages (R, Python)
  • Familiarity with Agile process management
  • Experience with Business Intelligence products (Tableau)
