As part of the Analytics Operations department that supports Epsilon's Digital Media Solutions practice, the Analytic Development team curates our reporting platform by designing, building and maintaining visualizations using Tableau. As the Associate Director you will have the opportunity to work with a broad variety of products and teams throughout Epsilon to define business requirements and deliver insights via interactive dashboards. The ideal candidate should have a passion for data visualization, ability to manage and lead, and demonstrated experience working with advanced Tableau features.
Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal clients and other team members to translate business problems into reporting requirements
  • Use advanced data visualization tools to contextualize information in a manner suitable to key business user audiences
  • Identify key business metrics measurements and develop methods to represent data in support of the measurements
  • Provide guidance and insight on data visualization and reporting/dashboarding best practices
  • Document reporting requirements and define report templates and dashboard specifications
  • Build dashboards, automated reports, and report templates
  • Facilitate discovery and design sessions with end users


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (computer science, economics, mathematics, statistics, or other technically related field)
  • 4-8 years of industry experience in a business intelligence development or related role
  • Expert user of Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Experience using SQL to build custom datasets for reporting or analysis a plus
  • Proficient user of Tableau or similar data visualization tools
  • Able to work directly with end users to ensure results meet their goals and expectations
  • Sound communication skills and desire to work in cross-functional groups
