Business Analyst

Future Finance is searching for a stellar Business Analyst to join our thriving team. As the primary insight generator and data-driven strategy owner, you will be responsible for providing Big Data driven solutions by analyzing customer behaviour, operation processes, marketing campaign efficiency, and industry trends. The ideal candidate will have an advanced understanding of SQL and Excel, as well as open source software. We are looking for someone with 5+ years experience, who has a deep understanding of business needs as well as expertise in analytics.

This position will report directly to the Chief Analytics Officer.

The Role:

Primary duties may include are but are not limited to:

• Building customer profile reports

• Designing and executing marketing campaign and operation process experiments in support of targeting and strategy enhancement

• Monitoring performance trends to anticipate necessary adjustments to strategies

• Analysing profitability trade-offs using various tools to maximize return on the business exposure

• Exploring new data sources to support improvements to new and existing programmes

• Assisting with ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support decision making

Your Vital Skills:

• Advanced knowledge of data extraction and manipulation using SQL, Excel and other reporting software

• Knowledge of building analytical solutions with commercial software such as SAS, or open source software such as Python and R

• Understanding of statistical modeling techniques

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Innate curiosity combined with excellent learning capability

Your Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with data visualization tool such as Tableau, R-Shiny and Looker

• Experience in consumer lending or student finance

Your Qualifications:

Masters+ degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or other related quantitative disciplines; or bachelor's degree from a top university.
