This position is part of the Business Intelligence (BI) team at OneSpan and will focus on creating and maintaining critical reports that help drive business decisions. These reports are comprised of company-wide KPIs and as a result this role will need to partner with multiple departments across the organization. In addition to these key BI reports, some ad-hoc analysis is also required.

• Design and develop Tableau reports and business intelligence applications. This requires an understanding of programming and some familiarity with analytic expression development.
• Gather business requirements for reporting and analytic projects. Liaise with data stewards and sponsors to transform requirements into actionable plans.
• This duty requires excellent communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Analyze data from source systems and data warehouse. Develop an understanding of data flow within and between the various systems.
• Provide input to the data warehouse design and reporting data models.
  Develop business intelligence metadata and documentation for end-user consumption. Create, conduct, and maintain training and help documentation for on-line report end-users.
• Provide end-user support for reports by researching user concerns, offering training, and fielding new requests.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 4+ years of data analysis experience
• Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools
• Proficient in SQL, data analysis, advanced excel and report development
• Experience with AWS- Athena/Aurora/Redshift
• Experience in data migration and automation using SSIS & SSAS
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and modeling techniques
• Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to understand future data needs and create a vision for how to meet those needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex technical issues to both technical and business users in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, ever-growing and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
• Basic understanding of Finance & Accounting processes
• Experience working with non-technical staff, demonstrating ability to translate non-technical requirements into a technical specification
