Job Description Summary
The Configurable Technical Consultant is primarily responsible for translating business requirements into technical rules for implementation (configurable and PMOI). This involves assisting with the workflow design and collaborating with the sales account teams and customers in some cases. In addition, the candidate should understand how to problem solve to identify possible technical issues with the rules and assist in solutioning. This individual will also be able to consult on our capabilities and how to best leverage our capabilities to drive customer efficiencies. This individual will demonstrate an understanding of logic, testing and have computer expertise.
Job Duties
- Coordinate, review, and organize client workflow requirements
- Translate those business requirements and workflows into the technical rule writing
- Participate in workflow requirements meetings
- Proficiently communicate internally and externally with CCC clients
- Access SQL database using existing scripts
- Researches and corrects defects
- Consults with the customer/account teams on our technical capabilities
- Assists in triage of workflow issues and act as an expert to our rule capabilities
- Help create test cases and test the rules prior to implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree preferred
- 1 – 3+ years of software development experience preferred
- Rules Engines (Oracle JDeveloper, Oracle Business Rules, ILOG, DROOLS) familiarity
- Prior experience with any high-level programming language such as SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Basic, Salesforce Rules preferred
- Strong communication and project management skills preferred
