Business Solution Analyst Manager (Risk & Compliance)
This is a remote position. We are a global team that leverages the latest technology to communicate with our colleagues across the globe. When it's safe to do so, there may be times in which this role would be required to travel to a local office for in-person collaboration with your team.
Being a Business Solution Analyst Manager at iManage Means...
You are responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of business solutions' delivery by the Risk & Compliance Division’s Business Solution Analysts (BSAs). You will help lead project work as a primary BSA as well as our BSA team training and oversight.
You will be gathering, documenting, confirming, configuring, and testing the implementation of requirements for Workflow and Conflicts projects as well as training and supporting the client through their testing and go-live. This includes strategic consulting around process re-engineering, management consulting regarding client staffing optimization and change management consulting to ensure customer adoption and success.
You will report directly to our VP of Risk & Compliance.
iM Responsible for the Following Leadership Tasks...
- Maintaining a high-level understanding of the status of the other BSAs’ ongoing projects
- Identifying training needs and opportunities for BSAs
- Fostering team camaraderie and collaboration with the wider delivery team (Data Architects, TSAs, QATs), as well as the R&D team
- Enforcing and evolving the division’s professional services delivery model
- Providing/facilitating training for BSAs from internal experts on iManage-specific skills
- Serving as an escalation point for BSA questions and concerns
- Working with the VP of Risk & Compliance to identify and facilitate necessary staffing adjustments
- Providing feedback and performance reviews (including bonus and merit increase recommendations) and other administrative tasks related to direct reports as required by PeopleOps
As Well As Responsible for the Following Project-related Tasks...
- Engaging client (and prospective client) stakeholders in envisioning exercises, helping them understand how our software can solve their key business challenges.
- Eliciting and documenting detailed requirements and then translating those requirements into our iManage Business Intake and Conflicts Manager software.
- Mapping client requirements to iManage products and solutions and identifying where customizations are required (working hard to minimize the number of customizations required).
- Defining targeted implementation tasks required to implement the solutions you documented.
- Working closely with our implementation team, ensuring fidelity of the implementation with the agreed customer requirements and solution.
- Generating system test cases and performing hands-on quality assurance testing solutions and supporting our clients during their testing.
- Working with clients long-term to strategically evolve the use of our software, and to continue to enhance our client relationships.
- Providing input into our software roadmap and features, based on their real-world collaboration with our clients
- Generating change requests and new enhancement service orders, to deliver ongoing changes or enhancements to already agreed requirements or solutions.
- Ensuring timely, on budget and quality-controlled execution of projects
iM Qualified Because I Have…
- A Bachelor’s degree
- Experience analyzing and documenting detailed business requirements for large systems (workflow, ERP or comparable)
- Demonstrated ability to organize and manage large amounts of detailed information, including production of functional and technical specifications
- 7+ years of consulting experience involving engagement with C-level or equivalent executives
- Legal industry or professional services industry experience
- Knowledge of business process analysis methodologies
- Demonstrated proficiency in several of the following core technologies:
- Microsoft office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
- Microsoft SQL Server, a plus
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and a high level of commitment to quality
- The ability to generate, and desire to communicate, innovative ideas in a collaborative environment
- Management experience, a plus
*Travel may be required to fulfill the duties of this position (up to 25%)
