This role will be responsible for managing a variety of US Transfer Agency projects and developing and supporting the digital tools sets for the Transfer Agency business like online client portals, fund administration tools etc. This role will support/ oversee key production processes, client change management, new business/ product initiatives, generating usage trends, metrics & analytics and general process improvements.

Operates under general supervision but works on own most of the time. Ability to serve as first point of reference for day-to-day queries related to all digital tool sets support US Transfer Agency business, and serves as a liaison to related areas. Demonstrates excellent analytical, consultative, communication and judgment skills. May lead projects and/or train TA partners and clients. Solid analytical and communication skills are needed to draft detailed project plans, scope business requirements and provide project updates to a wide audience.

Strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time sensitive environment. The ability to quickly learn Transfer Agency processes and to work effectively in a team environment is critical. Experience in the financial services industry specifically in the mutual fund space (40 Act, CIT's, Fund of Funds, alternative funds etc.) is preferred.

  • Act as an expert on the functioning of all digital tool sets supporting the Transfer Agency business processes such as client account online access, fund administration tools, portal administration etc. and to support day to day queries and project execution impacting these tools.
  • Serve as a FIS-TA technical/functional expert without management responsibilities and be seen as a key advisor on significant business decisions.
  • Participate in new client onboarding/ client change requests, facilitate workshops/ demos to clients on digital capabilities and eliciting client requirements
  • Ability to see the big picture, understand client objectives and apply that understanding to create digital solutions to address client needs, leveraging standard capabilities of digital tools
  • Handle day to day queries and resolve issues to support operations and client support in a timely manner within defined SLAs
  • Monitor, measure and provide feedback on usage metrics, trends and analytics on digital tools to support product analytics
  • Serve as a primary application vendor contact for the responsible business applications and work closely with internal support and business partners to coordinate application releases.
  • Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
  • Lead a variety of TA projects of varying size and complexity demonstrating solid leadership and project management skills.
  • Participates in testing and QA activities
  • Liaise with partner areas to analyze existing processes and develop new strategies to support growing and changing business needs.
  • Execute core steps related to the SDLC process from a business unit perspective including: complete process analysis, draft business requirements, document test plans, complete required testing, and execute post implementation monitoring.
  • Provides technical expertise for products/services and oversees the implementation of new processes to support these products/services on an ongoing basis to ensure that client needs are met.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory updates/changes impacting alternative investment products and mutual funds.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in financial services including knowledge of Transfer Agency processes - mutual funds, CITs, fund of fund structures, NSCC/ DTCC services etc.
  • Prior experience as a business analyst/ systems analyst with ability to manage large data sets and perform data analysis
  • Experience in managing Customer Facing portals/ products/ digital tools used by customers to retail access, account management. Transact and receive and submit documentation in a Financial Services organization is required
  • Prior client service experience in a service oriented environment will be beneficial
  • Exceptional analytical, detail-oriented problem-solving skills; excellent follow-up skills required
  • Strong collaborator, ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Technical skills to define and manage technical requirements such as connectivity requirements, SSO, data transmissions, interface specifications etc. Prior experience in writing code, designing applications is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of FIS-Transfer Agency solutions (FIS-TA, OLA, Funds AUM etc.) and other FIS products beneficial but not required.
