Announced in May 2018, Peapod Digital Labs is an Ahold Delhaize USA company that will serve as the engine that powers U.S. ecommerce and digital strategies. Peapod Digital Labs will accelerate growth in digital and personalization capabilities for the great local brands of Ahold Delhaize USA and will serve as the innovation lab for the U.S. portfolio of companies, driving digital and eCommerce innovation, technology and experience to meet the changing needs of customers of Ahold Delhaize USA’s local brands, regardless of when, where and how consumers choose to shop. Peapod continues to be a consumer-facing eCommerce brand, and is part of Peapod Digital Labs, focused on growing Peapod sales to consumers.
Recipe for Success - What's “in store” for the role
- Manage variety of primary research methodologies from both a qualitative and quantitative perspective. This includes, but is not limited to focus groups, mobile missions, research panels, online communities, tracking studies, user experience testing, segmentation studies, concept testing, test/control methodologies, etc.
Provide strategic insight into improving customer experience and perceptions through the proper development and usage of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, ensuring that the appropriate methodological and valid statistical approaches are utilized.
Interprets research findings and summarizes data analyses into actionable insights that address stakeholder objectives.
Owns strategic consultancy for internal and external stakeholders that identifies opportunities, helps formulate open business questions, recommends research methodologies, and writes research plans and proposals.
Develop and deliver presentations at key Management Meetings as appropriate.
Ensure that all research instruments accurately measure what we want them to measure and that the data is representative of the market.
Maximizing the learnings, insights and value-added of all ongoing research

The Essentials In Your Cart - The required ingredients
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer research in CPG/Retail; Can be a combination of manufacturer/client side and research supplier side
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics.
Extra Spices - What you should bring to the table
- Ability to work within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience working within the eCommerce grocery delivery industry
- Effectively communicate to various levels of management
