The Position:
The Cyber Security Analyst role is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Cyber Security program. This is an active, hands-on position; responsible for the development, support and administration of Cyber Security functions and all of its components. Team responsibilities include but are not limited to: Monitoring and taking action on all security alerts that are generated from the current and future protections we have implemented or plan to implement, being first point of contact for cyber security needs from employees & contractors, maintainer of the security training program, being a point of contact for security vendors and assisting with all action items from those vendors including proactive threat hunts, assisting with new hire onboarding/offboarding by installing or removing required security agents on endpoints.
What you’ll bring
● BS/BA in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
● 3+ years of experience in Cyber Security
● Experience supporting DLP Technology (deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, etc.)
● Experience maintaining antivirus solutions (signature and/or behavioral based)
● Experience with Information Security frameworks and standards, such as NIST 800-53, SOC 2, ISO 27001
● Passionate about process improvements, documentation and automation
● Experience assisting, managing or building vulnerability management program
● Maintenance of Cyber Security policies, procedures and internal control documentation
● Email security experience (Identifying phishing emails, blacklisting IPs/, reputation monitoring etc.)
Set yourself apart
● Involvement in projects as needed as determined by the scope and related to the job function.
● Scripting experience (Bash, PowerShell, Python)
● Web application security experience (Penetration Testing, Security Assessments etc.)
● Experience in a healthcare company with knowledge of existing and emerging federal and state requirements related to privacy and security of health information is a plus

● CompTIA Security+
● Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
● Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
● GIAC Security Essential (GSEC)
