If you were a Data Engineer @ Clearcover for the past month, you would have:

  • Attended architecture meetings around upcoming new features.
  • Worked closely with our Product team to flush out high-level features into consumable chunks.
  • Provided clear functional requirements and design work to accomplish the task at hand.
  • Worked in well-designed codebases and have full autonomy to improve them.
  • Have your code reviewed by developers with solid development principles.
  • Partook in weekly retros where we discussed improvements, and acknowledged our accomplishments as a team.
  • Dug into Periscope or Sumologic to build your own dashboard to monitor the performance of features you've built or something else you're curious about.
  • Worked from home whenever you needed it.
  • Attended an All-Hands meeting where clear transparency was provided around company goals and it's outlook. (And some other fun tidbits).
  • Enjoyed a happy hour where you got to build a personal relationship with a few of your fellow co-workers.
