Position Summary
Tall Ridge is looking for an analytical, results-driven developer who is familiar working with data scientists, database technologists, and BI developers to build back-end applications and processes. This candidate will use their understanding of data, programming languages and tools to analyze current technology, industry developments and solve problems to improve performance and the end experience for users. You must be collaborative, positive, hungry to learn, be ok with breaking things, excited to move quick and unafraid to lead projects.
Responsibilities:
Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas of improvement.
Collaborating with team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learning new programming languages and assist other team members.
Taking lead on projects, as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.
Fluent in Python.
Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques.
Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.
Excellent project and time management skills.
Strong problem solving and verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently or with a group.
Nice to have:
Proficient in Pandas, Matplotlib, Plotly, and Numpy.
Proficient in PHP and Javascript.
Experience in data visualization.
Experience in Angular/React.
Knowledgeable of Google Cloud and Github.
Experience designing and developing APIs.
Familiarity with database technology such as MySQL/BigQuery.
