Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
bswift is currently seeking a EDI Analyst to join our team in Downtown Chicago. The EDI Analyst will mainly be responsible for helping meet and exceed client expectations by supporting consumers with our best-in-class HR software and services. Additionally, the EDI Analyst will provide support to the EDI Project Manager by focusing on file configuration, testing, and timely delivery of interfaces for direct or channel partner clients.
Fundamental Components:
Communicate timelines and status with teammates and clients
Configure files on the EDI platform and files based on client & carrier plan requirements
Provide leadership to team to meet client and carrier deliverables
Test new and existing files transmissions to ensure accuracy of client & carrier requirements
Perform research and resolve inquiries regarding system and process issues
Act as a coach and mentor for others with pertaining to bswift tools, configuration, testing, and defect management
Consistently reflect bswifts core values of higher standards, greater accountability, and more fun to colleagues, clients, and partners
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
0-3 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.
Extensive experience with databases as well interpretation and manipulation of related data.
Healthcare background.
Strong organizational skills.
Knowledge of all types of managed care products including HMO, PPO, and Medicare Part D
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Internet Explorer.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
