Role Description:

The Business Analyst will work with business unit subject matter experts and managers to define/document requirements, align priorities and ensure development and integration needs are aligned across all departments, including software development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Participate in Business Intelligences project life cycles: business requirements gathering, report design walkthrough, functional testing, and review of final product before releasing to business owners
  • Provide documentation support for requirements gathering, process analysis, gap analysis, and product testing
  • Plan, elicit, capture, analyze, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements
  • Analyze business requirements by collaborating with business groups to identify, document, and communicate business needs and provide IT solutions
  • Document, analyze, and assess current business processes and underlying systems/applications
  • Coordinate functional and user acceptance testing by executing the testing strategy, scheduling resources, and tracking test performance
  • Manage written communication between stakeholders and Business Intelligence, including Business Requirements Documents, Project Plans and Trackers, Testing and Issue Logs, and Azure Ticketing System
  • Conduct investigations of issues and bugs of Care Model Reports and create Azure Tickets; Review Care Model Reports and back-end functionality to ensure issues have been resolved
  • Work with senior business analysts and project teams to ensure the applications or products in development comply with end-user needs
  • Create or revise Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) to ensure current and accurate business objectives; maintain and verify requirements specifications accordingly
  • Work as a technical support and liaison to designated IT personnel to provide testing, support, and feedback on enhancement requests and regular updates/releases/bugs; adhere to release schedules
  • Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in functional area to bridge business requirements and IT solutions; provide technical direction and ensure compliance with optimum practice solutions
  • Practice knowledge transfer and foster change management as the organization changes and new skills are required, focusing on team/individual development
  • Other duties, as assigned

  • Undergraduate degree required, preferably in Business, Analytics, or related field
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team
  • Release management and planning experience
  • Ability to take ownership of a project and see it from end to end
  • Ability to creatively solve technical problems to ensure the translation of technical requirement test plans
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables, to find the bad defects and bugs
  • Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders and users
  • Proficiency in Quality Management Software and processes
  • Knowledge and experience in technical aspects of software solution being tested
  • Business process understanding
  • US work authorization
