Position Overview:

The Catch Company is looking for a Strategy Professional to build out our data, FP&A, and advanced analytics capabilities.  You’ll build models and reporting that drive core business functions, explore implementations of advanced statistical modelling to drive marketing and customer retention efforts, and create key communications to investors, board members, and other external stakeholders.

What you will do:

• Use and refine our multi touch customer attribution model to drive smarter allocation of marketing spend
• Build statistical analysis to model likely customer behavior and determine actionable operational responses
• Automate data analysis and internal KPI reporting to streamline delivery to leadership/business teams and optimize business efficiency
• Prepare materials for quarterly board meetings
• Build and operate revenue, inventory, and cash flow models for internal forecasting
• Conduct variance analysis to evaluate performance against our budget and goals
• Conduct cost reviews to identify savings opportunities

What experience you need:

• 4-year bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative/analytical field
• Comfort working with large datasets
• Experience building and maintaining financial models
• Understanding of statistics and probabilities, and how they can be applied to real-life problems
• Familiarity with common accounting/FP&A practices and reports
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools to build complex analysis, and build compelling visualizations to drive decisions
• [Preferred] experience with SQL / relational databases
• [Preferred] familiarity with Looker, Domo, Tableau, or other similar analytics platforms used to access large datasets
• [Preferred] 2 years of work experience in a consulting, finance, FP&A, or analytics role
• [Preferred] advanced degree in a quantitative field
