Some Challenges You’ll Tackle
Duties: Work directly with stakeholders to address their needs. Work with our simulation analyst to calibrate input distributions. Identify new behavioral models and fit distributions to match real-world behaviors. Model system interactions and behaviors for various holistic initiatives. Inform simulation development with behavioral model prioritization. Develop simulation validation and methodology. Find new and better ways to do what we're doing. Test out new algorithms and business policies with our crack operations research team. Relentlessly analyze and improve the performance of our business.
You Should Have
Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience in mathematical optimization model design and coding. Additional requirements: 1 year of experience building predictive data science models; 1 year of experience with Python programming; 2 years of experience with stochastic or robust optimization; 2 years of experience with stochastic processes and queuing theory; 1 year of experience with data querying and analysis using SQL, and using either Python or R.
