Job Description

We are seeking an Integration Analyst who is passionate and experienced within the health systems environment to support our Product Team in building integrated solutions that drive the success and value of services we offer our customers.

The Integration Analyst will work closely with stakeholders to understand CancerIQ’s business needs, investigate and document requirements for our integration implementation projects, and successfully convey the future direction and impact of these systems to our customers. They will help build the business case, specifications, and design for new and innovative integrated product solutions, and will participate throughout the development process to ensure the needs of our end users are met. Working directly with colleagues and our clients to implement new system integration solutions, as a subject matter expert and project manager.

The ideal candidate has experience working with internal and external stakeholders to understand both business and technical system integration problems in detail, possesses strong analytical and communication skills including writing thorough requirements for complex engineering solutions, and enjoys collaborating with clinical and IT teams to optimize system integrations in real world scenarios.

Requirements

You will be responsible for

  • Assisting clients and colleagues in analyzing business needs and performing requirements gathering, scoping, and planning for integration implementation projects
  • Serve as a hands-on analyst and/or project manager for client implementations including:
    • Systems and business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering
    • Implementation planning and management, including status reporting and escalations
    • Coordination and participation in testing activities
    • Provide go-live and ongoing operational support to integration clients
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of professional materials (Project plans, integration specifications, charters, implementation guides, testing materials, etc.)
  • Contribute to overall product team objectives and specific assigned deliverables, and participate in integrated product research and development processes
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of activities, such as:
    • Identifying and evaluating new opportunities, potential partners, and technologies
    • Root-cause analysis for integration related issues, both internal and client related
    • Developing the business case and specifications for new projects
    • Providing recommendations for short and long term solutions
  • Recognize and identify areas where existing procedures may require re-engineering, or where new ones need to be developed, and raise all concerns, issues, and potential risk to management
  • Enhance professional and technical knowledge through participation in relevant training sessions and ongoing education opportunities
  • Advocate for key system improvements that unlock new strategic integration capabilities by working through challenging problems with the team to produce scalable solutions
  • Proactively monitor new releases and functionality changes, and provide recommendations for system enhancements
  • Manage rollouts of process and tool changes by initiating proactive communication with impacted users and by providing user training and support to business partners and external stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or higher in relevant field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or other STEM related field)
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey complex concepts and solutions with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Healthcare or HIT background capable of providing knowledge and insight within HIT ecosystems and common data integration challenges
  • 2+ years of systems integration experience particularly with EHRs and/or specialty clinical system integration
  • Strong analytical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Resilience in the face of an ever-changing technical landscape, evolving integration standards and dynamic client requirements
  • Project Management experience including:
    • Task organization
    • Meeting facilitation
    • Setting and meeting deadlines
    • Effective customer-facing escalation management
    • Exercising good judgment and professionalism

  • Experience with HL7 v2, FHIR, SMART apps
