Inventory Analyst
RF IDeas Inc is currently seeking an experienced Inventory Analyst to join their team in Rolling Meadows, IL.
Job Description
Perform activities to monitor and maintain inventory control of finished products and components. Accountable for inventory accuracy and cycle count procedure. Ensure Cycle Count procedure is auditable. May assist in warehouse organization to achieve cycle count objectives. May evaluate inventory levels and may notify purchasing when reorders are necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Examine documents, materials or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy and conformance to standards and specifications.
- Complete transactions in ERP system.
- Complete and monitor cycle count procedures.
- Validate inventory levels at both company sites and consigned material at suppliers.
- Complete auditable inventory integrity reports.
- Make cycle count adjustments.
- Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw material, or quality control measures.
- Assist in the creation of production schedules.
- Compile and analyze information related to inventory accuracy, Inventory turns.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Associate Degree in material management, operations, supply chain or related fields
- Accreditations desired
- Minimum of 5 years experience in operations/material management/inventory role
Abilities and Skills:
- Experience working in current factory or warehouse environment
- Knowledge of ERP systems, Oracle/NetSuite preferred
- Demonstrated skills to lead change in an organization
- Experience compiling and analyzing data
- Proficiency with reporting and creating charts
- Experience in material management & Warehouse Organization
- Attention to detail, accurate
- Proficient verbal and written communications skills
- The ability to multi-task, prioritize, document and respond to changing needs
- Analytical, problem-solving, and planning skills
- Ability to occasionally travel to domestic/ international suppliers
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment
