As a Business Analyst for ServiceNow team, you will be part of our nimble and agile cross-functional team for implementing and managing one of the most complex ServiceNow implementations across various modules and business lines

  • IT Service Management - Incident, Request, Change, Problem, Virtual Agent, PA
  • IT Operations Management - Discovery, Service Mapping
  • IT Asset Management - APM, HAM, CMDB, Discovery
  • DevOps
  • Security Operations - Vulnerability Response, Configuration Compliance
  • Governance, Risk & Compliance
  • HR Service Delivery - Employee Service Center

What You'll do

  1. Document detailed user stories and epics with acceptance criteria in collaboration with process owners for ServiceNow modules
  2. Research, gather and synthesize information.
  3. Plan, schedule and facilitate working sessions to collect, clarify, analyze, and translate business requirements into user stories.
  4. Review an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology.
  5. Understand current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution.
  6. Perform testing on each story and identify defects before the update sets are deployed for UAT.
  7. Coordinate UAT Defects and drive development Team to close the defects asap and suggestions.
  8. Identify system flitches and provide best practices and suggestions based on Test.
  9. Develop training documentation and materials. Deliver training to key stakeholder and end users.
  10. Analyzes increasingly complex system specification of existing programs to determine requirements.

Qualifications

  • College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information science, management information systems, or business administration or a related field (or equal years of experience)
  • 5+ years experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst in an enterprise application environment
  • 3+ years recent experience working in an Agile development environment as a business analyst (i.e., Scrum, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with the ServiceNow Platform
  • 3+ years of experience facilitating requirements gathering, Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, capturing client requirements and feedback
  • Experience with implementation of multiple modules in ServiceNow
  • Ability to clearly present ServiceNow knowledge and best practices to key stakeholders

Key Skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated with willingness to learn new ServiceNow applications and functionality
  • Strong business analysis skill and experience, including requirements definition and process modelling
  • An understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including recent successful and demonstrated experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum) is expected
  • Skilled at analyzing existing system documentation to summarize existing system functionality as it relates to the project at hand
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and troubleshooting by effectively responding to inquiries
  • Ability to work well under dynamic deadlines and priorities
