Collibra Lead Architect

Responsible for maintaining the data governance\quality tools by providing technical insight, support & monitoring for the data quality systems by partnering with the business, technology and the Enterprise Data Governance teams.

Support the establishment of policies, standards and processes that will be developed and maintained to support the data governance platform

To utilize tools to support/maintain the existing data quality systems

Experience Requirements:

- Experience in data strategy and data governance.

- Ability to explain value of data governance to both business and technical stakeholders.

- Experience configuring Collibra Data Governance Center (DGC).

- Support several engagements with Collibra DGC, integrating metadata and data lineage into Collibra from various sources including ETL tools

- Ability to implement Data Dictionary/Data Lineage and Data Catalog use cases, deliver Guided Training and Mentoring for Data Stewards needed to support the new Collibra processes, develop initial metadata ingestion approach(es), and perform initial ingestion of metadata.

- Identifies requirements and use cases for the Collibra solution that will support the governance strategy and roadmap; implement those requirements of Collibra.

- Proficient at documenting the configuration of Collibra.

- Experience setting up a business glossary with Collibra

- Experience in Collibra DQ and DQ Metric integration in Collibra DGC

- Experience implementing Collibra Workflows (BPMN), building Metamodel is plus

- Current Collibra Certification is a plus

Skills

  • Command lines skills in windows and in Unix
  • Background in BI(PowerBI)
  • SQL Query development and performance tuning
  • Strong command of the implementation and administration of
    • Data governance tools such as Collibra Data Governance Catalog.
    • Data quality tools such as Collibra DQ / Owl DQ
    • ETL tools such as InfoSphere DataStage, Informatica or similar
  • Ability to discuss data abstractions (entities, attributes, tables, columns, documents, and sematic relationships between entities) with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to discuss technical abstractions (server, service, repository, patterns, queries, streams, queues, etc. ) with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science
  • Collibra Certification

  • Translating business requirements into technical design
  • Soft skills - schedule and facilitate meetings
