The Lead Data Aanalyst who will be rresponsible for conducting data analysis with expertise in different business and IT data groups, application wide analysis and proposal of solutions. Assembles, analyzes, and represents customer business data requirements. Performs feasibility data analysis, scopes project, recommends alternative solutions, project strategy and deliverable prioritization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and Document requirements through consultation and interview sessions with Business and IT Partners across Business Units.
  • Conduct requirement and data gap analysis for accumulation and processing projects across lines of business.
  • Design and maintain technical designs including data modelling, testing, debugging, and installation.
  • Support and evaluate the bank's current financial data warehouse considering new practices in a designated area, project or program.
  • Apply knowledge and experience in programming (SQL, SAS), database platforms (Oracle, DB2) and current technologies (R, AWS) to provide input into strategic planning in terms of data processing and governance.
  • Deliver Financial and Market Value data for Organizational, Product and Client Profitability across the lines of business and address business queries.
  • Support and evaluate of Finance and Risk information
  • Support and evaluate of Domestic and Global transaction and accounting systems.
  • Support and evaluate of Account & Party data source from MDM system.
  • Individual needs to be able to independently dive into the project, no in-depth training. Fully understand the gaps, reach out to the appropriate people in the organization and create their own requirement gathering meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT related field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in data analyst.
  • Experience developing solutions for both Data Warehouse and Enterprise Applications.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience optimizing and debugging Oracle SQL/PLSQL a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and evaluate risk in a production on-call setting.
  • Data source experience required.
  • Understanding of Client, Account, and Relationship data structures.
  • An experience working in banking industry
  • Understanding of Legal agreement and Product
  • Understanding of Finance and Risk data
  • Understanding of Banking and Custody data (Loan, Deposit, Security, and Trust/Custody)
  • Financial background - with understanding of Balance Sheet and Income Sheet
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior level business teams to ensure optimal results.
  • Aside from the business specific knowledge, the individuals will also possess a complete understanding and mastery of the enterprise software development lifecycle
